I would be perfectly happy just to spend the night watching movies, cuddled up and neither one of us or the kids are sick! He has such a crazy schedule that we hardly see each other any more (for more than 10 minutes in passing).

My husband works late almost every night, but makes sure he is home on Monday nights for sure so that we can watch 24 together. It is nice because he knows that it is the only TV show I watch. I love that that is our show…our hour of for sure time each week! We make popcorn & enjoy the show…together:)

Romance is the silence which occurs in the seconds after kissing the kids goodnight and closing the door behind us.

Romance is hugging my husband with kids clinging to our legs threatening the balance we’ve managed to sustain.

Romance is watching any program which repeatedly states “Viewer Discretion Advised” because this means we have successfully achieved romantic item number one.

Romance is just being with my husband no matter what whirlwind in which we currently reside.

Those are my thoughts and I’m sticking to em’ much like a deconstructed PB&J sticks to hardwood floors after many months of non-discovery under a cabinet.
