Was thinking about you guys today. What did you do about the roof? When was it last replaced? Glad everyone is safe. Kids sleep o.k.? If Nee was awake I’m sure she was the reporter.

AWESOME website! I love to see men like you setting an example for our future men. Good job! Oh, and by the way, I got a Sweet Potato Pie recipe that puts all other Sweet Potato Pies to shame ;)

Hey MochaDad! I used “The Design Girl” http://thedesigngirlstudio.com/ She is great! QUICK and cheap!!! All i got from her was the Banner and the Button. She typically works with Blogger, and was encouraging me to get an account there (since its free), because she is familiar with the configuration there and everything. But i told her that all i really wanted was a Banner and Button…. not to leave Typepad (since im so familiar with it) and not get a whole page makeover. So she designed the header, and i installed it myself. So simple. The header cost $35, and the button cost $20. But when you get on her waiting list you have to put down $35. Once she contacts you to start the process (and it was literally like a week and a half later, or less) you discuss your vision and you get prices and stuff (prices also listed on her page). You basically deduct the $35 you already put down from what u are getting. So I paid her a balance of $20, and she did the banner/button all last night. *smh* Incredible. She was so patient with me, as i had her make several changes to the banner and title and things. Very professional and nice…. I actually have her button on my page, on the right side module toward the bottom.

Oh, you do find your own graphics and give it to her. The girl holding the handbag was designed for me by another artist, and i use that same graphic on my webzine: http://www.girlyhomewebzine.com/ymw/about-1.html And I got the buggy from istockphoto.com

Let me know if u need any other info! :-)

Hi, I was just wondering if you had the chance to try the Starbucks Via? Did you like it?

I stumbled across your blog while looking for pictures for a Language Assignment. (My visual aid to a poem I’m discussing I’m tying to modern soldiers) Curious, I read some of your blog and it is very inspiring. To me, good parents are becoming hard to find, mothers and fathers of all diversity. Your kids are so blessed to have wonderful, caring parents; something a lot of kids are missing out. I just wanted to say your blog has really touched my heart and enforces my beliefs even more. I’ll be bookmarking your blog and checking in every once in a blue moon. ( :

I wish your family well.

Hey Dad! I would love to introduce you to my “baby.” The nomie baby car seat cover is the must-have for all those messes in the car. It’s a cozy, removable, washable and waterproof cover for infant and toddler car seats. No more struggling or wrestling to get the cover off and clean it. It slips on and off easily. It is also ideal for turning a hand-me-down in to new again. All for only $36 at http://www.nomiebaby.com. Here’s to happy-mess and more time for the fun stuff!

Love the picture of you and your beautiful daughter. I have three boys and one girl and my girl is really special to me. She is not mine by blood but we have a special bond that was formed way before she was born. Attached is a posting from my Blog. At the end of it, is a picture of my daughter Claire and me from last year. Take care and I’ll be watching your Blog.
