Pretty Princess

“Good night, pretty princess,” I told my daughter as I tucked her into bed.

“Good night, Daddy,” she said as she kissed me on the cheek.

“Do you know you’re the prettiest girl in the world?” I asked.

“Yes, I know,” she said.

“How do you know?” I asked.

“Because you told me so,” she said.

So sweet. I've always said that girls believe whatever their fathers tell them about themselves and that's why it's so important that fathers play a role in the lives of their daughters.

When you get a chance, head over to my blog and read the following post, there's a little something for you at the end:

That type of trust is priceless.

Children will believe what their parents tell them. We always need to watch our words and make sure they are ones we want to be remembered.

That's why I will always strive to maintain this trust.

Parents must uplift their children with their words.
